July 7th 2008

It’s about time that I updated our web site.  I hope everyone had a great 4th of July.  The weather has been great for out door summer recreation.  Hopefully the fuel prices aren’t keeping you from doing what you enjoy doing in the summer.  Myself, I’m counting the days until the snow flies once again.  The Boise snow show is only 82 days away.  The ISSA convention is 121 days away.  The International Snowmobile Congress has come and gone.  I didn’t get a chance to get up to Boise that week to attend the Congress.  If you have any information on the happenings of the ISC, please drop me an e-mail, and I will share the info on our web page.

The toilets for the Bostetter campground are on order and should be delivered about the first or second week of September.  The CXT guys that are building the toilets will give us a better date as the time grows closer.  We will be excavating the site for the warming hut at about the same time to conserve on the number of trips that we have to make with the big equipment.  Then the building of the warming hut can begin.  This project has been along time coming, and will be an enjoyable addition to our South Hills.  We will send out a postcard as to when the building will begin as the time draws nearer.  It shouldn’t take too long to complete with a little help from our club members.  I know this may not be the most ideal time for everyone, but if you can help, please come join in the fun.

Our Club Grass Drag GU-RU is checking out the possibilities of putting on a Grass Drag this Fall.  Not sure if we have a location to host them or not.  More info to come.

If there is anything that you as a club member would like to see on this web site, please drop me an e-mail and let me know. Pictures of snowmobile activities for our gallery are always welcome.
